sad I’m confused and frustrated

Price Jumps

Your site shows the flights I wish to book (MKE - MSL; 2 seats one way on 21st September 2012) at $163 each but when I try to book the price jumps to $256 each on the Delta booking site to which I am transferred. Why is this?

    happy I’m hoping this helps
    Hi there -

Shopping for airfare can be complex enough without prices appearing to change while shopping. The Wall-Street Journal recently coined this issue as 'fare-switching.'

FareCompare CEO Rick Seaney also described this issue as a technical glitch affecting the industry, airlines in particular, and only affects 2-3% of bookings.

Different reservation systems and airlines handle this concern in different ways, but most only honor the price you're quoted on the booking page.

Ive done a search on your behalf and the price is currently, about $260 on our search results: http://farecompa.re/yoCXtd When I selected one of the Delta flights, the prices was $260 also: http://bit.ly/xrDEcA

    Good luck booking your trip.

    Safe travels,
